I stumbled upon this from a fellow RD(t) a couple months ago and thought it was a GENIUS idea! How can we cut down on food waste and prevent companies from chucking out perfectly good produce that are rejected for the sole purpose of the fact it’s pretty darn ugly? Some people use the reasoning that fresh produce costs too much and that other food stuff are within their grocery budget.
This video blew my mind – such a simple concept with a huge positive impact on food waste, the environment.. and our wallets!
Here’s the vid! What are your thoughts on this?
