As a Dietitian for over 12 years and since graduating in 2012 from the University of British Columbia (UBC), I’ve focused my career on nutrition education for the public. I have led everything from grocery store tours and lunch & learns, to workshops and cooking classes—always with the goal of making nutrition simple, approachable, and practical.

Before my role at TELUS Health Care Centres, I worked as a grocery store Dietitian with Loblaw Companies Ltd., where I developed a strong knowledge of food products and how to make smart swaps that don’t sacrifice taste.

In my practice, my areas of focus and expertise include:

  • Weight loss and healthy weight management focusing on practical nutrition strategies to support your unique and customized journey.
  • Meal planning and recipe ideas
  • Chronic disease prevention and management (including pre-diabetes/ diabetes, heart disease (high cholesterol, blood pressure), and nutrient optimization)
  • Practical culinary nutrition with support of meal ideas, meal planning, grocery shopping lists, easy cooking techniques, portion sizes, and virtual kitchen makeovers
  • Plant-based nutrition (vegan, vegetarian and flexitarians who are plant curious!)
  • Advice on nutrition and diet trends (including ketogenic (keto) diet, intermittent fasting (IF) and Paleo diet)

I take a non-diet approach to weight loss, meaning I focus on realistic, sustainable changes rather than quick fixes. My goal is to empower clients to make healthier choices that fit into their lifestyle, not work against it.

And as a proud foodie, I totally get that food needs to be both nutritious and delicious. I bring that perspective into all my recommendations, making sure they’re not only good for your health—but also something you’ll actually enjoy eating.
