My career has taken me from Iqaluit to Bella Coola and throughout British Columbia, where I’ve worked as a Clinical Dietitian in hospital care, home health, chronic disease management, diabetes care, and tube feeding/enteral nutrition. I’m also a Certified Diabetes Educator, helping people navigate diabetes and pre-diabetes with practical, evidence-based strategies.
I’m currently completing the International Olympic Committee Diploma (IOC) in Sports Nutrition, inspired by my own love of the mountains. My goal is to support recreational and competitive mountain athletes—from climbers to ski tourers—to fuel their adventures and optimize performance while maintaining long-term health.
In my practice, my areas of focus and expertise include:
- Diabetes Management: Support for managing type 1, type 2, pre-diabetes, and gestational diabetes with practical, evidence-based strategies. I can teach clients how to interpret blood-sugar numbers—whether using a traditional glucometer or a continuous glucose monitor (CGM)—and how to use that information to guide dietary patterns and lifestyle habits that fit naturally into daily life.
- Sports Nutrition: Fueling plans for recreational (including gym goers), competitive athletes and all fitness enthusiasts in between to optimize energy, performance, and recovery. Includes tailored guidance for training days, competition, and adventures in the mountains or beyond.
- Healthy Heart: Nutrition strategies to help lower cholesterol, manage blood pressure, and support long-term heart health. Focus on creating enjoyable, heart-friendly eating patterns that are sustainable and satisfying.
- Digestive Support: Personalized approaches to ease symptoms of constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, or other digestive concerns. Focus on creating a balanced eating plan that promotes comfort and supports overall gut health.
- Additional Languages: I also speak both Hindi and Gujarati!

I provide personalized nutrition counselling that is fully individualized, taking each client’s cultural context, preferences, and personal circumstances into account. My approach is collaborative and sustainable, focusing on what matters most to each client and helping them build strategies that fit their life.
When I’m off the clock, you’ll catch me tea in hand, deep in a Netflix binge, snoozing by a river, or chasing joy in the mountains.
